Permalink Reply by Celticlass...FAERIE QUEEN on April 16, 2012 at 8:04pm I believe I responed to this way back when.......I have always been me,a clan seer in the 1300's and 1500's of the Scottish Highlands andFaerie Realm before that.....I keep coming back AS MYSELF! And i embrace it!

I was told that all my past lives have been warriors. I told this to a friend once; and, he asked me why I haven't been in the military. I replied that those are soldiers; warriors are different. Warriors fight of their own free will and for what cause they find just. I have had my wars in this life already.

Permalink Reply by Self Portrait on April 16, 2012 at 10:46pm In my first past life regression, I was a young African slave girl, being chased and running towards a large plantation house. In another I was a cougar basking on a rock, and the most recent one--perhaps before this life--I was a whale, resting at the surface, listening the voices of my pod. I have other memories, as Human, but they're too hazy to be fully remembered. Though I'd love to regress further to see other lives I've lived.
Permalink Reply by Celticlass...FAERIE QUEEN on April 17, 2012 at 9:01am The remembrance of the whale is spectacular!! Very nice! In my Celtic path,we believe the more "kinds" of lives we atttain to,the more wisdom ,completeness and power we can attain too. None are lower or less, just unique to themselves.
Celticlass, your reply impressed me greatly since I have long speculated that other species on this earth are different from us only in that they have diffferent cultures, and thus ways of surviving and preserving their races. I think we can see this especially among dolphins, whales and related mammals, who, I believe, have cultures and intelligences that do not need opposable thumbs to be "civilized". It calls to question the entire idea, concept, of what civilization and intelligence is. We have not cracked that question except perhaps on a very superficial level. Apes use tools as do we. Whales seem to get along nicely without them. They do not have fire, the wheel, or writing, for example, but communicate in ways that are almost beyond our imagining and largely a mystery to us. To have the memory of a whale, an entirely different intelligent species, vitually an alien to humans, (what if ET landed? Would we even notice him as intelligent or civilized as we understand it?) in a past life is to be envied. I think it is possible that some of them sort of have us figured out and are curious in a way that goes beyond a cat sniffing a new toy.
Permalink Reply by Celticlass...FAERIE QUEEN on April 17, 2012 at 3:01pm THANK you SUE TIMKO......so amazing you mentioned the apes too,as the Mountain Gorrilla IS my power animal and the Dolphins fascinate me truely. My Celtic path actually takes it a bit further, one can be the wind, trees,a rock,a pebble....any forms of being or "thing" as they each have their own energies.....the more times we spend as each, the more we know, grow and reach our center. once we attain human status,we are human ,in as many lives as we are given,OR we stay in the Spiritual realm for a time or remain......THIS is my Scottish Witchery path. We are very tied to our ancestors and believe in regeneration, ciming back through ones' own family and/or clan.
Correct, Celticlass. I have to laugh little. Remember the mother Horta in the original Star Trek series? She got pretty pissed when human miners endangered her young. She and they looked like rocks. Just a small aside..... :-)There is a reason that all mythology exists: it holds a kernel of truth that we may or may not completely understand intellectually but has meaning for us if we are open to it. The winds around the world have names. They are alive to those who can feel them. I nearly lost a big blue spruce to a violent windstorm (Chinook) that I planted many years ago as practically a sapling. I was not angry with the Chinook. It is his nature. I talk to the tree and visit her as she makes her recovery. I think she is going to make it. I would have mourned her loss. Various cultures use pebbles they place in their pockets to rub together with one hand to relax and center themselves. I see (feel-and if I am very lucky, sometimes very profoundly for a moment or two) connections everywhere. Not Wicca, nor Celtic, nor not much of anything I would give a name to. So pagan is the best I can come up with.

Permalink Reply by Self Portrait on April 18, 2012 at 6:36pm Yeah, it short, but very detailed, and very pleasant. I've been journeying and trying to figure out what kind of whale I was. I only saw my fin, which was grey. That doesn't tell me a whole lot! :-)
I feel, due to my past lives, that we're not bound to one species. I agree with you on that, about none being lower than the other. It's not surprising to me that Orca and Beluga Whale have been/are my Spirit Animals.
