I asked Dionysus this question in prayer a few nights ago and this is what I "felt" him say:
Jesus can't heal an amputee because he can't recreate the bone and other parts needed for the leg out of nowhere(I.E. just make them appear) the parts would have to come from someone(I.E. Another person) and he can't just take a leg away from a "non believer" and give it to the amputee.
Thanks for all your thoughts and replies Blessed Be

The paradox
God exists, and God answers prayers, but for some reason God chooses to ignore the prayers of amputees. We don't have a good explanation for why God acts this way, and it does seem to contradict what Jesus teaches about prayer in the Bible, but clearly God has his divine reasons.
Key Point In Mark 11:24 Jesus promises Neva Rogers that, "whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." In John 14:14 Jesus promises, "if you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Yet when Neva prayed for protection from the gunman, Jesus completely ignored her. Jeff Weise shot Neva Rogers in the head four times, and she died in a pool of her own blood.
A situation like this is deeply paradoxical. For any thoughtful person, the questions come in a flood. Why does an all-powerful God completely ignore the prayers and allow ten people to die? Why does God save the student who denies God's existence? Why doesn't God strike the gunman dead at the scene, or help him earlier in life so as to completely derail the situation before it ever happens? How could a loving God allow such perverse, needless and useless suffering when he clearly has the power and authority to prevent it? Why would Jesus make an unambiguous promise to answer prayers in the Bible, and then renege? How can God have answered millions of other prayers all around the globe on that day, while at the same time ignoring this huge tragedy and refusing to answer any prayers there?
It is hard for us, as human beings, to know what to think because Neva Rogers' death is senseless. We have no easy way to penetrate the mysteries of the Lord.
What we do know is that these deeply paradoxical situations happen all the time, and there must be a reason for that... but there isn't.
thanks for the replies Sin they are very informational however what are your thoughts on what I said in my post about the leg having to come from somewhere?
I know and respect the fact that you don't believe in the Gods however does the idea that the leg would need to come from somewhere seem logical to you just from an idea stand point?.

This supports scientific premise, that something can not be created from nothing - why does science limit the ability of Jesus?
Why can't Jesus manifest a new leg from pure desire to create the new leg? If God imagined all that is, and manifested it - why can't Jesus do the same? Why can't God work through Jesus, or why can't Jesus request that God create the new leg for an amputee?
Simple, because we invented these ideas darkrose - all of it is imagined. I understand that you believe this information comes from Dionysus; however I believe it comes from you.

It's unanswered questions like these that made me start questioning Christianity. I could not accept the answer "God has his divine reasons." So I started looking elsewhere for answers.
