Why do you think Jesus can't/won't heal an amputee?(give him/her a new leg)

I believe we have control over many things,including our own reactions,doings,interactions,telling the truth,how we deal with ourselves and others in a daily basis,what we are accountable for,etc.otherwise it is a "God/Goddess did it"

Here's my way of thinking. I think that the prayer for a new leg has been answered...but it was not answered the way some might have thought. I think it's the same with any other diety...What we ask for and what we get (in our mind's eye) is not always the same... We haven't been denied our request...it has been answered the way that the Diety thinks is best. Whilst we might be very knowledgable...we have to believe that the diety(s) that we worship know more and are much wiser than we are...therefore...they give us the answer they think is best...and we don't always figure it out or see it...then sometimes, days, months or years later we realize that the best answer was given us....now I've probably made no sense at all...

i recently lost my leg due to complications i have good days and bad days sometimes i think my legs still there and i try to walk but it dosent matter i have had a motto which is there is always some one worse off than yourself
anyway i can have a prostetic when i have healed propely i myself do not belive in jesus
so i could not say anything about him all i know is whats happened happened and you carnt change out just look to the futur.

my main argument against christianity ..... suppose you were to go to heaven and your friend was to go to hell ....how could you be happy knowing they were suffering in hell ....... the only reply i've been given is "jesus can take away all pain" ... now the only concievable way of jesus doing this would be to make one forget the existance of our hell bound friends ...... i.e to make one ignorant and any doctrine that advicates ignorance as a sollution to metaphsyical dilemas is in my opinion useless .........

so if you replace the word jesus with something more suitable i'd say that anything is possible yet most things are unlikely .........

Hell as a punishment place has always intrigued me,in the first place. Arent ALL humans' Gods' children? So how and why would you burn one of your children as a puinishment forever? Remember when eating meat was a sin????? Scarey religion,in my opinion.

when i was 16 my "friends" and i were going to try heroin ... the night before arranged day i had a dream ...... it could only be described as "hell"..... i was subjected every percievable form of torture mental physical emotional ..... say my chest was cut open it would imediately heal only for some other suffering to begin .... it seemed to go on for eternity then it stopped .... i was in shock ..... then the two main arterys in my left arm were cut at my wrist and the veins ripped out up to my elbow the veins were then tied (so i wouldn't bleed to death) and i was left with a needle hull of heroin ... and told this will kill the pain ...and i was in a lot of pain but as i tried to put the needle in a stopped and it was like i want no idon't want to i want to no i don't want to ........ then i woke up ...needless to say i didn't end up using heroin .....thank fuck for that ... so maybe a concept of hell can have it's uses after all

Face it folks shit happens get a grip and deal with it find the inner strength to get up and get on with things you may be surprised at the good that come from adversity.

Right on woman!

I was at the Neptune festival 2 years ago, this woman was jogging with a titanium leg. She stood next to me in the booth - and I couldn't believe how fit she was. I was envious of her strength to treat her body like a temple. The guy at the booth said something about the leg, because it was very techno looking, it gave her the fluid movement to run. He's going on an on about the leg and I'm checking out her ass.
