I think that if my child is doing everything he or she is supposed to be doing in terms of housework, schoolwork, attending class, not doing drugs, respecting those around him/her, etc., then what they look like is no object to me. ^_^

Honestly, I hung with punk rockers for many years in the late 80's/early 90's. I say, to each his own as long as you're not hurting anyone, be yourself. I used to have a Social D shirt... LOL.
This is me with some of my friends in the early 90's,... I'm the girl standing
Kids that age need to try their wings, so to speak. My youngest wanted to grow his hair out and my ex would never let him. Individuality whilst conforming at the same time, that's the key, LOL. I say, let her sew her oats and she'll figure herself out soon enough.
I see her as someone who expresses a part of creativity within themselves not afraid to be different i was part of the punk rock 80's myself so i'm gonna agree with her style.I had a mohawk as well.
Blessings,
Alchemy.
