your thoughts on in your face Live Broadcast from Wisteria?
howdy folks
1st this site rocks and for the most part it is run very friendly and with our needs in mind.
this live broadcast is kind of a invasion to our personal pages here on PS many of us have personal designs or custom theams. I think with something like this it should be on the main page of the site not in our personal pages. my reason or thought is this it can be misused as advetising to a agenda that would not otherwise fall into our personal choice of intrests. i feel it takes away from our own personalty of what we have set up as a members here of free thinkers and independant follwers of diffrent paths
i am asking who else thinks this should be on the main page of PS not on our personal pages
be nice in your responce and maybe star fire can remove it from our personal pages ? i truly feel that it should be a site main page item not a personal page forced item.

It doesn't bug me it's on our personal pages, the people who are doing the broadcast can't see us, or see anything on our pages. And right underneath the video stream it says you are able to pause the broadcast and furthermore it will be disabled as soon as Wisteria is over.

i understand what your veiw is and its all good but my thing was what right would give to place things in your space without your concent ? i love commercals as much as the next guy.

I haven't see any commercials from the Ustream broadcast, plus our pages already have advertisements on the side anyways, to help pay for the bandwidth.And you have to remember since Starr actually pays the bills, it's her choice to decide what gets put where ;)
But to each their own I suppose...Good luck to you.

I love this site for the people and the discussions.
I didn't complain about the Live Broadcast From Wisteria's Summer Solstice, but now that is over, I wish they'd take it off.
Personally, I knew it was on the main page. If I wanted to be glued to it, I'd have watched it there. It shouldn't have been forced down our throats, in my opinion.

your right this is a great site with alot of diversity where we can be ourselves and share in a open matter. we get enough things placed on us from our goverments and institutions and from our work place i spose thos ewho pay the bills in this case do have the final say and they may not know of the new problems of downloading pages when we come on with folks who enjoy music and vidios they should remove some of them to make room for the broadcast feed? this may help.

I hardly ever go to my page unless I have a new comment to approve....so I had no idea it was there, i was on the main page though and it was pretty cool.
