Hi All,

If you have a suggestion for the reading room please place your comments in this thread. Please place the name of the title, a category and a link to where the material is located. Currently I am utilizing a third-party account we have to make the viewing of materials open to all and easy to read. Please do not attach any materials to this thread or they will be deleted; as these file types are very heavy and as I said, we are utilizing a third-party host for the reader.

I look forward to your suggestions for additions, and hopefully before long we'll have a diverse and large library of texts for all to enjoy!

Much Love & Big Hugs,
Starrfire

We are only humans after all on this small piece of dirt spinning in the universe, over which we have no control what so ever! Why does it suprise you that we would try to control every other aspect of life around us?
Since power is the upmost control that is what we strive for. If you have the most power you have the upmost control. AND if you have the most power...AND no one knows about that power...THEN that is even better! The broader the control ...in the smaller amount of hands...well that is what they have wanted for centuries. Are they close to achieving that? Was Jesus part of that? Is his line still on earth? Are there really only seven families ruling the planet? I don't know the answers , I don't know if anyone does, but the cover-up idea is always there. It will be interesting to see what reading material is offered up. I think we are programed some where deep inside our brains to think we are not the end all so there has to be something "bigger, stronger, brighter, more power-full" than we are. The "God Gene"?
Tena...aka...Sage of the Dragon..still pondering the wonders of it all

Incarnation of Immortality series by Piers Anthony. It's listed as fantasy, but for Pagans, it's probably a little closer to reality.

The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Cuehlo. I would classify it as spiritual fiction. It is a beautiful story written by an absolutely amazing writer.

Description from Publisher's Weekly:

"An uncanny fusion of philosophy, religious miracle and moral parable. The Portobello of the title is London's Portobello Road, where Sherine Khalil, aka Athena, finds the worship meeting she's leading—where she becomes an omniscient goddess named Hagia Sophia—disrupted by a Protestant protest. Framed as a set of interviews conducted with those who knew Athena, who is dead as the book opens, the story recounts her birth in Transylvania to a Gypsy mother, her adoption by wealthy Lebanese Christians; her short, early marriage to a man she meets at a London college (one of the interviewees); her son Viorel's birth; and her stint selling real estate in Dubai. Back in London in the book's second half, Athena learns to harness the powers that have been present but inchoate within her, and the story picks up as she acquires a "teacher" (Deidre O'Neill, aka Edda, another interviewee), then disciples (also interviewed), and speeds toward a spectacular end."

Yah, I've always digged books by Charles De Lint, I'm surprised that more heathens don't discuss his fiction.
