Hello! I've been belly dancing since I was 13 and I am now about to turn 28 (on Oct. 29th). I am starting to teach my almost 6 year old daughter as she's shown an interest.

I make my own costumes and love how sensual and free I feel when I dance.

Yeshes, I still love Delilah's DVDs. The only thing they don't really cover is good posture though.

Lisa, which ones have you tried?

For beginner dvds, there are Delilah's "Belly Dancing Workshop" series, three DVDs. They are old -- from the 70s -- but a lot of fun!

And as for fusion classes in Sacramento, yes, what Spoon said! Don't just walk... run!

I have always wanted to learn Tribal Fusion. I think it is a very beautiful form of dance. IS there anyone in the Sacramento area?

A couple of weeks ago I did my first live performance. I'm really excited and wanted to share it with all of you because it was a dance for the Morrigan. Now that I'm over my fear, I'm addicted and can't wait for the next one!
