Hi ho, new here.

As a gay man, I've always wondered how the concept of same sex love fits into the whole male/female dynamic. The duality of man/woman is so important, and the creation of new life is quite possibly one of the most elemental and powerful forms of magic out there, I'm curious to see how different people interpret the beautiful variety of gender and sexuality as either stemming from or enhancing that primal male/female duality.

If that makes sense...

For 30 years I’ve held in the embarrassment and shame of being abused daily on the set of Charles in Charge. I had to watch other children be abused as well. It was devastating, destroyed me personally and made me an angry person for many years. I’m not embarrassed anymore. RT!

Hi y'all! Glad I found this group!

I just wanted to respond in re: previous comments about panties as a sexual offering for a god/dess. I'm not finding any mythology or folklore that I can see corresponds to leave panties to Herne in particular. (This figure is actually new to me!)

However, it seems that the practice in general it could be a viable option if if it is considered to be an acceptable offering by that particular god or in that instance. In Hoodoo, for example, most of the saints require certain types of offerings. (Eg. San Simon like alcohol, cigars, candy, money and such.)

One might, if it is acceptable, offer one's bodily fluids in such a way.. blood, saliva, urine, menstrual blood or semen in such a way. The sexual fluids would be particularly applicable if one is conducting a form of sex magick.

This is a resource for over 13 age group. If you look at the

rules there is a site for under 13.

Found this when it was Lauras Playground 2003

I was listening to a recording of a live performance by S. J. Tucker on YouTube, and she talked about visiting an altar to Herne at the HPF (assuming Heartland Pagan Festival) some years ago. She joked about people leaving an offering of panties to Herne. The linkage of sex and deity struck me. I started wondering if a Lesbian might leave their panties at an altar to Aphrodite, or a Gay man might leave his undies at the altar to Herne. Being Bi, I’m a little conflicted as to which one I’d approach, though I’m not feeling the need for that right now. Just thinking about it—maybe both. :)
