@Michael, are you interested in folk magic, ceremonial magic, witchcraft and/or paganism, earth spirituality?  If you can give us a narrow(er) focus, I bet we can recommend some of our favorite books for you.

@Michael ... I also wear a number of different charms, sometimes altogether, sometimes apart for differing reasons.

Lately I've been wearing an eye, for knowledge & wisdom.  It relates to the Third Eye but also the All-Seeing Eye.  I also have an Om, which is the seed syllable and source of creation.  It also reminds me to stay centered in my body.  A kokopelli, which is essentially a fertility charm.  A Kali Yantra when I am calling upon Her, among other things.

It's important for the symbol to make sense to you as much as it is to be appropriately chosen.  So considering any tradition you may follow or be interested in is a good place to start, but as Tegwedd said the pentacle is a fairly good all-purpose.  It also represents the 5 elements & is used for protection.

The pentacle is a good all-purpose charm, being as it is the symbol of our faith.  I also like to wear the Fehu Rune, representing as it does, wealth for the Norse.

Hello there, I'm in search of a teacher. I started on this path about 6 months ago and I am so lost. I don't even know all of the basics. I'm looking for someone to help me figure out a few things and someone I can go to when I have questions ( and I have a lot of them!) I'm very eager to learn. I'm interested in herbs, healing, and all things to better myself of the people around me. Feel free to message me :3
