Maybe people are just busy. I know I certainly am, but 1 more month and I regain my life back!

What's up with my groups listing activity here and there is nothing?
Anyone else?

Wassail Fox,
Glad to have you here! Tyr is a pretty cool fellow in my estimation, very much a stickler and very old school. He is a very old God, related to the Sky Father of ancient Eurasia. Hence the Vanic connection... Hela is great too, though I haven't worked with her. I would talk to Kane if you're interested in darker Heathenry.

Hail!

I am very pleased to find this group that allows for a wider variety of Heathen expression. I fit under the reconstructionist inspired umbrella in my spiritual practise. There are hardly any Heathens were I live so I appreciate being able to connect online.

I have worked primarily with Frigg and the Vanir in the past (but not exclusively). Over the last few months Tyr has taken an interest in me. I am surpirsed, and uncertain how to work with him. Frankly, I am a little scared too! I am also really drawn to working with Hela. But any suggestions would be helpful.

This "Vanir Saga" is pretty interesting, though certainly not substantiated by historical writings. It's pretty cool - though I would've preferred it to have been written in alliterative verse.

Hi,

New member here. I thought I would inquire of this group about "The Vanir Saga" found here--

http://www.skergard.org/skvanir.htm

Although this does contain modern scientific concepts like evolution, would this still be considered a viable and useful myth?

I do find the concept of Holda as the Mother Womb or Source of all things to be similar to my own ideas about her.

Thanks.

Wes Thu Hal, Davye, and welcome to Alternative Northern Paths - the 'misfits and mages' group on Paganspace. I'm personally involved in a small, local Celtic-Germanic group. We do some arts and crafts, like making rune sets and the like. How about yourself?

Greetings all. I am glad to see a group like this on Paganspace.

I am a Folkbuilder for the Asatru Folk Assembly, a Folkish Asatru non-profit that has members all of the world (though focused in the States).

How many of you would consider yourself 'active' Heathens. For example, are you part of a kindred that is involved in 'real life' projects like farming, crafts, artwork, construction (halls, hoffs, etc), animal keeping, etc?
