I know of a few animal guides I've had throughout my life. I believe they come and go as they are needed. My main animal guide however has been with me since I was born and is the Dragonfly and yes she's still with me. As a matter of fact I've been going through a really bad time with my fibromyalgia as of late. About two weeks ago I had to go to the doctor's where I got some not so good news. After that I went to a grocery store. ( I live in a farmer's town so to go to the doctor's or the grocery store I have to go into the city) After checking out of the store and taking my groceries and placing them in the trunk I had a dizzy spell. Stopping to catch myself on the back of my car I stood there for a few moments to regain my balance and when I looked up I had not one but two dragonflies fluttering about at the hood of my car. I gently and softly moved closer to observe them more closely as I thought for sure I was seeing things.. I mean who sees dragonflies in the middle of a shopping plaza parking lot in broad daylight right? We sat like this me leaning up against my car door and them floating above the hood of my car for what seemed like eternity but only ended up being 10 minutes before they gently flew away, their message well received and thought upon since. Again I have had other animal guides but just like people they come into our lives for a reason and leave again when the reason is no more .

I have always had dreams with bears, and white wolves but more often bears and I have always admired the characteristics that the bear embodies mainly because they are qualities I do not currently have myself. I do believe that this animal is my spirit guide but I have the worst time trying to meditate and can not connect with the spirit guides in this way. Does anyone know another way to find out if the bear is truly my guide/totem animal?

hello iv had expeince with alot of diffrent spirit guides one is well a real bossy one at times my main spirit gudes area white female wolf and black male wolf and deer among many others

A cougar has been near my daughter since she was born and has "talked" to me when she was little. I walked in and saw this cougar spirit trying to hide its form under her bed telling me she was trying to pull its tail off. Since then its not been shy now that it knows that I can see and hear it. My daughter as Aspergers Syndrome and has a problem with "staying in reality" instead of her little cartoon charater filled world so I do not know if she has seen or talked to it due to her trying to remain more in reality instead of her normal conversations with the Teen titans and whatever the critters from Chaotic are.

My totem is a hawk. He came to me at work not long ago, (I am a tennis pro and therefore outside a lot). I was depressed that afternoon and I was leaving and he landed on the fence above me (only about 6 feet), sat there, looked at me, looked away, looked at me, and then while looking at me he made the most beautiful high pitched hawk call, looked away, and then flew off. He visited me almost every day for 2 weeks. And after he was gone for a short while, he came for the last time, landed on the grass behind my court, took a ground squirrel away, (poor little creature, but that's nature), flew off (beautiful red tail fanning open), and left behind a 10 inch feather for me now on my altar at all times. I still see the hawks now and then flying over my house or near it. It was an amazing experience and I hope to be worthy of the hawks' messages.

I have many guides. Many totems. One is now on my left forearm. Always reminds me to follow my instincts, and to listen to all my guides.

Hello hope to learn with you all .My animal spirits are a pair of wolves.Who I love dearly.I think I might have a new one but I'm not sure yet.If anyone has info on the falcon being a totem animal plz let me know.

I'm really new to all this, and feel it just can't be as simple as the explanations that I'm reading.... knowing who your totems or spirit guides are, is simply who I'm most comfortable with? whomever I see around me the most? I admit I have a very special bond with my hybred/white wolf, Moose [he's huge 150+ lbs] we can communicate [after a fashion] ... or the froggies who live in my container garden, whom I've carried from home to home for 20 years? Truely is it this simple?? ... If so, then I have soooo many questions now!!!
