Comment by Kallisti Sinend Rainwitch on November 27, 2012 at 4:05pm So i am completely utterly new to everything pagan, wiccan, and magic. What book would be best for me to first read?
Anyone know of a really good beginner book about the sabbats & esbats?
Blessings
Comment by Scott "Reki" Seamans on November 25, 2011 at 11:39pm Looking for a money spell and a spell to dispell bad luck. Had a distrubing meditation last night. My grandmother came to me and said she could come back for just 1 day. Could this been her or another spirit looking to make contact? I worry it could be a dark spirit trying to make contact to enter my home? I need help with this.
Comment by Cindy Bidwell Glaze on September 21, 2011 at 1:53pm Allen, Actually the best books to start with are the lore books. Go to a library and interlibrary loan all the sagas, eddas and books on Norse history that you can find.
About Runes, avoid Blum or any book on runes that have a blank rune for Odin. Those are generally a sign of newbies in local Asatru culture. I don't know how it is where you are.
