Hi everyone!
I joined PaganSpace.net about a week ago, and have just found this group today. I live in the USA, but am British (English/Scottish parents). I have always had my heart devoted to my Celtic roots. I have some knowledge, but am by no means any kind of expert. Now at a place in my life where I can finally be myself and embrace the way of life that I was always meant to lead.
I'm looking forward to spending more time here, and learning more as I go.

hi all! i'm so glad there is a celtic wicca group. i'm fairly new to wicca and have always been very drawn to celtic culture and history. it has fascinated me for years and i often wonder if i was celtic in a past life. hmmm...anyway, i have done some research on celtic deities and mythology so far and am still learning a lot. it would be great to share some more info with others. thanks! :)

No one actually knows what sort of rituals the ancient Celts performed.

Through the study of archeology and anthropology we can guestimate certain things about their culture and how they lived. We also have information on how other peoples of the time lived, so all in all it's a fairly good guestimate. But, how the ancient Celts performed their rituals has nothing to do with any modern form of Wiccan ritual and involved much more ancestral worship (which is where we get the Celtic 'Cult of the Dead' from)

True... Ok, I have been reading that the celtic side is natural magick in their everyday life. From cooking, gardening, etc... I think that is really cool. I really like that idea, what I am wondering what is the most powerful, candle magick or doing a ritual in the celtic style. I have not found much on the ritual part of it.
