toll the bell the Maypole spires!
Yet the Beltane fire burns
thus the May Queen spins and turns
A dance of fire and lust around,
the Maypole dance in her flowing gown
Pass thy kin and kine there through
as drumbeats pulse out sounds anew
In the Spring clean welcome her
let flowers adorn your alter sir
Cold days spurned to warm wind nights
green glade hills hold ye your rites
Take her by her graceful hand
walk her through the sacred land
