Hi, I am excited to find this group. I am bipolar bpd and it's a relief to find other people of like mind who are also bipolar.

I'm quite the lurker, but wanted to introduce myself. Hi! I'm Margaux, and I'm diagnosed Bi-Polar II. Apart from medication, I've found meditation and affirmations have helped considerably. I've got a great support system, which I think is the biggest contribution to good mental health and it's great to have found this group. Regardless that I don't post much, the fact that you all are here is something in that I find value. I'm glad you're here. :)

Sometimes I find that my Bi-polar really drains me of my focus and concentration.  I having been trying some Mantras and meditation exercises.  I think it helps.

Cindy,

I looked today, and she finally left.  Good riddance!  :-)  I thought I would feel bad, and I feel....relieved.  :-)

Agree that her Christianity is not the problem. Christian Healing Circle is a particular kind of prayer circle within some Christian groups. Your group is not that specific type of group. I was not intending you come all not Christian at her, just not a healing circle to her.

Thank you Cindy.  I woke up angry and I let everyone know.  Cormac set me straight.  I was just being too nice (like I always am), and forgot that I made that group for everyone in it, not just her.  I shared and got a lot of support, and frankly, if she doesn't like it, oh well. I'm not Christian, not everyone in there is.  I am always respectful, but if I can't be brutally honest with my own group, than what else do I have?

I agree with Cormac. There are plenty of groups that your Christian non-friend could join. Your group was designed differently and the whole group should be informed of that.

Your immediate reaction was to make-nice, but re-read everything that happened in the group before she joined and try to re-create that feel. If you can express what that feel was then say it. Without cursing as cursing was not what your group was about.

If you can link the Wayseer clip into the group in some way the better. If not, say it how you feel. This Christian who is trying to take over the group gestalt should be given the boot. She can re-join if she decides that she needs what the group has and is willing to play nice.

This is all my opinion, but your group is your group. Not a Christian "healing circle".
