I Need Your Help

I am drumming up an idea to raise awareness about bile bear farming (see article I posted in the group Caring for Mother Earth and Her Creatures) and need help from others who care deeply about endangered animals facing the threat of extinction.

I am thinking of a global awareness day, tied into the occurrence of Ursa Major moving into the constellation. It's got to be something B-I-G that will draw millions of people around the world all on the same day to focus on bile bears and set an intention to free them from torture and suffering. Maybe ask everybody to make a $1 donation on Pay Pal to Animals Asia, the rescue group who takes rescued bile bears to their sanctuaries in China and Vietnam.

I'm thinking of an event on the magnitude scale of the Lysistrata reading that occurred around the world on 03.03.03 to oppose the U.S. Iraqi invasion. We want to bring massive awareness to the bile bear farming practice to end tit once and for all. We will need artists to help. Lots of artists. And we need astronomers, lawyers, architects, First Peoples, youth groups, women's groups, eco warriors, clairvoyants, sacred Earth sisters and brothers, scientists, laborers, journalists, hippies, animal rights activists .... everybody to help end this horrible crime against these majestic creatures!

I am just beginning to brainstorm with people, so this is about as much info as I can provide. Will you help?

I would donate the $1.00 but an not able to use paypal as I have an ongoing dispute with them. If there is another way like Alert Pay I could donate through them. I know nothing about Bile Bears so I will go read your message. Thank You so much for addressing this extreamly important need!!! I don't know anything about Alert Pay, so that 's another research assignment for me. I really am appreciative of these tips -- first money bombs and now Alert Pay. Permalink Reply by Erie on February 7, 2009 at 3:37pm: Crap!!!!!. I know that this kind of hunting is horrible. Me and my husband just moved here to the coast in North Carolina. I happened to notice one day in a "real Estate" magizine that this one realitor was advertising " Hunting Farms" I couldn't believe it. She had all kinds of HER ads for selling houses with a picture of her and her little dog sitting in a fancy car. I was so pissed that I e-mailed her and told her off. Well, she got upset that I let her have it and threatened me, sayibng that her EX husband was some kind of prosecutor and that she was going to try and press charges against me.
She made up all kinds of excuses for her ads. She tried to tell me that those people were really NICE people and that they dont really HUNT on them. I asked her " why do you LIST it as a HUNTING FARM then?"
Well. then I started checking into this horrible hunting farm thing. You know what? It is legal,it is ok . Damn, you talk about feeling helpless. To me this just isnt right. But honestly, how can we change this?
We need to find someone that is really close friends with a GOOD lawyer or something.
I will do whatever I can to help you with this. But honestly, dont get your hopes up. I have been there/done that. But I will continue to try. It is nice to know I'm not alone,

These majestic animals need our help, our efforts, our attempts to liberate them and give them a chance at freedom. Jill Robinson, almost single-handedly, has rescued 500 bears and given them a new lease on life. It's possible, very possible, for each of us to make a difference in the lives of these bears. So thank you for being willing to give it a go. We need many, many more people to help, so if you have friends that you think would want to rally behind this cause, please send them my way. All it will take is a little bit of time to upload posters. The more posters that go viral, the greater the likelihood of us making a difference. I have posted this on a few other networks and already we are up to 25 people wanting to help. And that's just in one day. So there is hope, great hope. Let's keep spreading the word! I'll keep you all posted with a plan of action.

I just want to express my gratitude for your open-hearted goodness in responding to the call to liberate our 4-legged cousins from their torture chambers. We have signed our first Benefit for the Bears concert in a 1,000-seat venue in San Francisco. A fashion designer is making a gorgeous designer jacket to auction off, and artists have come forward from all over the world to design posters and make original art that we can sell to raise money for the bear rescues. If you know people who want to help make this global action day extraordinary and vital to ending bear bile farming, please let them know about this campaign. Our first poster will be ready by Feb. 20. So get ready ... the action is about to begin! It's so exciting!!!
