Bus fares and other leveled down public services in Brazil continue protests and poverty riots. So Brazil, with its dream scenario of few regulations and criminal corporate exploitation of people and resources turns out to have a rebellious, awakened population.

Comparisons have been drawn with rallies in Turkey and elsewhere by a more networked society with a long catalogue of grievances. Another global link was the evident in the handful of demonstrators who wore Guy Fawkes masks associated with Anonymous and the Occupy Wall Street protests.

Brazil's demonstrations are being referred to as the "vinegar revolution" (after police arrested people for carrying vinegar to counter tear gas) as well as the "20-cent revolution" (due to the bus price rise) and the Passe Livre (after the demand for free public transport).

Not likely to ever have a fair relationship with corporations and benefits with their working poor employees. Sick pay is still deemed communist robbery of the private sector in many mindsets. 

ALEC police state group and a rep strikes again in Florida. Evidently Rick Scott believes he will win reelection with massive popular support. The Teabaggers and Republicans that are working poor, they can thank the GOP and Scott for making them further impoverished when sick and gutted with medical bills.

Rick Scott, in an apparent mission to blow up every possible bridge linking him to re-election in 2014, signed a bill on Friday banning paid sick leave for Floridians, because, as much as they love to talk up how they hate Big Government and Bengazziiii and TAXES BAD, the GOPers simply love this ever living shit out of their money, and the only path to more of it is by screwing poor people.

A group of small business owners and self-employed from six states filed a lawsuit Thursday against ObamaCare, saying the IRS is illegally implementing the legislation– and it’s putting them out of business.

Three U.S. business owners and four entrepreneurs filed the suit against the IRS, the Treasury and the Department of Health and Human Services. The lawsuit is being coordinated by the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), and the plaintiffs are represented by Michael Carvin, who argued against ObamaCare’s individual mandate last year in front of the Supreme Court.

The plaintiffs all work in “refusenik” states, says CEI general counsel Sam Kazman – or states that are refusing to operate state-run exchanges, partly in order to exempt their businesses from the employer mandate, which will require businesses with more than 50 employees to offer insurance to all full-time workers.

Members of Congress already are preparing legislation to protect Americans by defunding the IRS and barring the agency from implementing the law.  Others are preparing bills to delay its start date beyond January 1 of next year.

“When it comes to an individual’s personal health care decisions, no American should be required to answer to the IRS — an agency that just forfeited its claim to a reputation of impartiality,” Rep. Tom Price, R-GA, said. “It has always been an untenable and unacceptable scenario, and we ought to take this common sense step to take the IRS out of healthcare.”

• Dr. Price has introduced the Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act (H.R. 1990).  It would prohibit the IRS from implementing or enforcing any piece of the law.
• Rep. Randy Forbes, R-VA, has introduced the IRS Overreach Act (H.R. 1993) which would prevent the IRS from hiring thousands of new agents tasked with implementing the law.
• Sen. Dean Heller, R-NV, has filed a bill, the IRS Accountability Act (S. 962), to prohibit the IRS from spending any money to implement ObamaCare. “Simply put, right now, we can’t trust the IRS to do its job,” Sen. Heller said.
