The annual State of the Union address was given by President Barack Obama on Tuesday of January 25. When I was watching it on television, I saw something that did not happen in reality. As always, the sergeant of arms announced in a loud voice, “Mr. Speaker, the president of the United States!” after which the president is supposed to enter the chamber and walk to the podium up front. Immediately before that happened, however, what I saw was a black man enter, walk down the aisle, and shake hands all around as he went. It was explained by the CNN news commentators that this man was the head of the diplomatic corps, and he was from the country of Djehuti. When I heard that, I was surprised to learn that there was an African country with the same name as the Egyptian deity, Djehuti. A few moments later, President Obama was announced and he entered as he was supposed to, shook hands as he walked down the aisle, reached the podium, and then proceeded to deliver a fantastic State of the Union message.
For some reason it did not sink in until four days later that there is no country anywhere named Djehuti. Not only that, there is no such thing as a head of the diplomatic corps. That part of the State of the Union speech did not happen. Or, perhaps I should say that it happened, but only to me. THE BLACK MAN WALKING DOWN THE AISLE IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AHEAD OF THE PRESIDENT WAS DJEHUTI! In reality, of course, Djehuti has no physical shape, but that was how my life was visually interpreting his energy at that point in time. On the other hand, it might be more accurate to say that was how Djehuti wanted to appear to me.
I did a playing card divination about it, asking if this was indeed a magical happening and that truly was Djehuti. I thoroughly shuffled my cards, and dealt five of them from the middle.

Joker: You travel the true path, do the right thing.
Ace of Hearts: There is union, contact.
Four of Hearts: You pamper or indulge yourself, and this is good.
Nine of Clubs: Something is helpful, facilitating, and useful.
Two of Hearts: Something improves, takes a turn for the better.

The first card was telling me that I was doing the right thing in terms of my daily devotions to Djehuti. The Ace of Hearts told me conclusively that the man I saw on television was indeed Djehuti. The fourth and fifth cards seemed to be telling me that through my continued devotions to Djehuti, things would be working out quite well for me.
It is not uncommon for Djehuti to appear to those who are devoting themselves to him, and when he does, it is often as a black man. Interestingly, my experience of seeing him on television included my seeing and hearing the CNN commentators talk about him too.

I have a good e-mail friend on another social network who is practicing this ritual of Djehuti worship, and she has three visitations from him, but while sleeping.  In one, she saw herself in a woods in the autumn, and the leaves on the ground began swirling around and then formed into a solid image of Djehuti, the way he is traditionally depicted in Egyptian art.  In another, there was a black man with a beard and she and this fellow were standing, looking at each other.  She asked if he was Djehuti, and he replied that he was.  That was all he said.  In her third encounter, all she recalls is that she and Djehuti were definitely making love with each other.  I had one additional encounter with Djehuti, one in which he appeared to me as a regular human being.  He was extremely affable, a black man, and as it was happening it had an unreal patina to it.  I was getting confused by what was going on.  I did not realize it was Djehuti until the next day, and I did a divination about it to confirm it.  It was confirmed.

These deities are definitely real, but they are not all equal.  I began by setting up a similar system of worship for Kuan Yin, a goddess known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion.  I had two very dramatic experiences with her, indicating that she was definitely real and that she was actively involved in my life.  It was while I was involved with her, however, that I began having mystical experiences telling me to switch over to Djehuti, which I finally did.  The mystical experiences I have had with Djehuti are definitely more powerful than the experiences I had with Kuan Yin.

I have not won the Powerball lottery yet or anything like that, but those experiences with Djehuti gave me a great deal of hope that Djehuti would be able to help me in many other ways in my daily life.  For me, actual proof in my daily life is everything.  If there is no actual proof that one's system of worship will bring about meaningful benefits in one's daily life, then that system of worship is no more than a mere hobby as far as I am concerned.

That's fascinating! I have had several gods visit me over the course of the years. Some Egyptian, some Roman, and some Greek. Just love it when they show up and give me some of their time.
