OMG! My mother has lots of antiques inherited through my late father's side of the family. My grandfather's military uniform and trunk, my great grandfather's tools and so much more that my dad kept from his grandad.

I just found out that my mother's sister is getting the "momentos" free from Mom and the neice is selling my family's stuff in her antique store.

None of this, not one rusty nail has anything to do with my mom's side of the family, much less her sister and that sleaze of a daughter of hers. My mom isn't making a dime, that cheesy neice is.

My great-grandfather's things from 120 years ago are being donated for sale. They are taking advantage of Mom and stealing my children's heirlooms.

Oh good! A place where I can be my normal, tactless & obnoxious self without having to worry about being PC, people taking things the wrong way, people not being able to take a joke & being easily insulted. Yeah, I have very little filter between brain & mouth (I am a Sagittarius) & that seems to apply to my computer keyboard as well. It seems, though, that even when being as tactful & PC as possible people still take things badly & jump down your throat when you have to tell them something about themselves or their behavior that they don't want to hear. I just wanna scream SUCK IT UP & MOVE ON! People have gotten overly sensitive & easily offended over the last generation or so with all this social awareness & PC stuff. People are easily offended because we have been told we should be by certain things. No one likes to be called a shit-head but it shouldn't drive them into therapy & take away your right to call them a shit-head, especially if they are one. It's too much work formulating statements in such a way so that no one gets upset & it's part of why I tend to avoid social situations altogether. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that tells it like it is & now has a place to go to do so freely. Thanks 4 this group! :)

Get Out...Do Not Stay... Masterfully spoken! And to LadyWhiteSunflower...my mother doesn't like me either! I get along (most of the time) with my son and my 2 dogs...one a Rottweiler (very sweet natured), and a chow mix...with a nature just like mine...aloof and august. I think i might like it here...

Does that mean I don't belong here?
