Connecting with the spirits
Hello:
I am a Wiccan, and very interested in connecting with the spirits around me. When I do rituals, I feel presence and power, but how can I move deeper? How can I communicate literally in a deeper way with the God/Goddess...and how can I communicate with spirits...whether they be nature spirits, guides, etc? Is it all done through mediation and visualization? Are there rituals or spells that can be performed to speed up the process? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome John,
Well, I will tell you there isn't any short cuts. But i do have a method of connecting with the Gods that you can feel and learn from them one-on-one.
I'll explain; First choose a God you connect with more then any other. Then research Him. Find out his story- the things associated with him- begin to collect them. Find out the herbs associated to him. Make an incense for him. Find out His colors. When you have all the information, you can journey with him. 1. Write an invocation for Him 2. plan ritual on or near His day of the week. 3. Check the aspects for that day. Be sure they are favorable. Then on the night you choose let the altar cloth be His color, the candles the same. If you need an altar set up or script. i would suggest you get my book " The Witches Heart". I cover this method deeper in the book.. Do your ritual and when you invoke Him- invoke him into your self. Then walk with him for 30 days. You will see the difference in yourself. At the end of your learning period have another circle with all His things. It's time to say good bye. That is very important! Thank him and see a full size blue white pentagram on your back . See and feel it push through you and then see the God in front of you. Again say farewell. And wrap up all of His things and put them away. You might want to work with Him again in the future. Then let us know how it goes.

Greetings Athena,
It is best to choose a Goddess to work with first if you are a woman. It is also best to work with the Goddess you worship in your circle. Many folks were brought up in other religions and after switching to Pagan they don't realy know the new Gods and Goddesses. If you spend 30 days researching and learning about them, you draw them close to you. And the most amazing things begin to happen.
I'm happy you like my book. I am working on the second one which is working with the nature spirits, Dryads, and many other aspect of Nature.
