Hi Sage, I'm sorry I missed your message on the earth meditation. I'm in the middle of moving so everything is up in the air so to speak. The element of air isn't taking over. When we lie down and look up in the sky our minds want to fly. It's that feeling of freedom we all yearn for. Also, going down into the earth is sometimes difficult for most people because of the thought of dieing. The best way to over come this is to take the journey very slowly. Permit your self to become transluscent and only let half of your body enter the earth. Then feel that part of your self becoming part of the earth. Then try to sink further into the earth until you become totally a part of it- breathing slowly and easily. You must also train your mind to follow instructions and not to take over. You are in control if you want to be. Let me know.

Merry Meet, Cara,
I have a question:
Each time I try and do an "Earth" meditation, it starts out with me walking through the trees, but midways; I'll look up and then slowly fly up in the air over the trees. My question is? Is there a reason the Air element is constantly taking over my Earth element?
I mean, I love the views and all, but I'm always feeling confused after the meditation. Thanks,

My name is Lori but I go by Charmed. I have just started into this site and am very excited about reading more and being apart of the discussions. I have 2 children one in Alberta with me and one in Ontario as he is 24 years old and says hes to old to live with Mom any more...lol... I have 2 dogs,one a Black Lab and the other is a Shipoo.
