"I would believe only in a God that knows how to dance." ~Friedrich Nietzsche

"It was a mythic time. None of us suspected that that world --made of music, songs, poverty, joy, desperation, custom, violence, injustice, love, dialect, and poverty formed over the course of millenia-- would be swept away in a couple of years... by the voodoo of 'progress.'" -Vittorio De Seta

Salve, Salut, Xairete, etc.
Because sometimes you just have to let it all out.
Dance until you pass out.
Drum until your hands bleed.
Chant until you can't even whisper.
Or perhaps... not even then.
Welcome to Ecstasia.

I should have my house put back together again by December-ish. The biggest issue will be the work in my ritual room and the roof. We can meet at my place, until MM is an option.

We're not meeting again until December and we won't be meeting at Mystic Moon again until February-ish. I have a lot of personal things going on right now and Thanksgiving kinda gets in the way as well. I'm looking forward to getting together with you guys in a major way, I just have to wait a bit longer. Keep working at your favorite rhythms and chants. <3

She had made an official announcement to that affect on two separate occasions.

I thought I had missed a recant.

Sin you are the second person I heard say that but I've never seen it posted. Spoon what's the answer on this?

I thought we weren't resuming classes until December? Did I miss something?

Thursday ought to be interesting with your 18". Tammorra and my two 16" tammorras (yes I am in possession of big blue and have been practicing) all banging out a hypnotic rhythm! Keep your fingers crossed that I don't have to pick up my daughter Thursday so I can make it!

I have Yanana Yanane and Ah Vita Bella stuck in my head. Heading to Rachaels to work on the rolling triplet in two more days! *Counting the Hours* I thought "She Who Must Be Played" had a deep timber... oh not compared to "Luna" and "Medici!" Luna (the 22" frame drum) is really effing deep but Medici (the 18" tammorra) is one of the deepest drums I have ever heard in my entire life! I picked up Medici to use at Gothla next year and he sounds like he crawled right out of the abyss. (Naturally my first thought was, "Sin has got to get one of these!") Mmmm... the deeper the timber the more hypnotic and powerful the drum but then you add those jingles over the top of it and its just unstoppable. You just go ahead and try not to trance with this beast playing next to you. Rrrrrraaaaaar!

Oh holy fuck those are some expensive drums! Did you see the price tag on the tambourello?! The videos are great though. Soooooo not worthy. *Chuckles*

I was searching for frame drums and went to the Cooperman Drums site http://www.cooperman.com/coopermanhanddrums.php and saw not only great drums but there are some nice videos of the various Copperman sponsored artists as well.
