My goal, beginning at Beltane, is to be able to participate in all the Highland Games events by next Beltane. Another goal is to be so physically buff that I'm one of those guys that women can't keep their hands off of. Why? Read my profile and you'll know. I know it sounds shallow, but strength, both inner and outer, are becoming more important to me right now.

hi, dragonwyke here. david thanks for the invite. i'm very interested in better health and natural healing. a few years ago the "accepted" medical establishment nearly had my husband joe dead and buried and so much "helpful" medication that he could barely function on a normal level.

after doing some in depth study we threw away all the meds, skipped the doctor's appts, changed our diet, his sleeping, and exersize habits and here he is 25lbs lighter, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure AND we still get to have sex. lol. insurance doesn't cover alternative health treatments so it's more expensive, therefore we're poorer, but it's well worth it. because life w/out him or w/him the way he was (very unhappy) just wouldn't be as much fun.

anyway, glad to be here and part of a group that knows and values t/heir health in a way the god/goddess meant for us to.

I'm understanding the whole grains and such better now. Thank you.
Thought I'd mention for everybody - I just finally got into a regular exercise program. I have trouble keeping up with elaborate exercise regimines - so here's what I decided to do. I do 50 - 100 crunches every day. I figure if that's all I do - at least I'm doing something. It's easier to do more than that if you are already doing at least that. So I do my 50 - 100 crunches every day and then when I'm done I can add another exercise. I've been doing that for about a week and my baby belly has actually shrunk a little. I'm concentrating on my middle area for now, but I'm verry likely to add on upper body and then running at the rate I'm going. Sometimes the baby steps are bigger in the long run than trying to take leaps. :D I am feeling so much healthier now and it'll only get better.

Hey there to all our new members!

FlidaisAnu, I purchased the Slim in Six program from Beachbody a couple years ago, but didn't reallly find the eating part too informational. IS the P90X system better with addressing the eating and sample ideas? Just curious. Thanks.
