I have lost 45 lbs in 13 weeks with the Shortcut Diet! How did I do it? Well I began by eating more. Now I eat more than I used to. What is the catch? Take a lot of short cuts. Every gram of fat and every gram of sugar that I cut results in me losing weight. I switched from Little Debbies to fresh fruit. I cut the mayo and became a mustard enthusiast. I cut the fry out of french and started baking them. I use whole grain pastas, breads, pitas, rolls, and crackers. I switched to baked tortilla and potato chips. If I do use mayo, I use fat free or low fat mayo. I started making great stir fry vegetables with beef or chicken. If I go to a Chinese buffet, I only eat the stir fry stuff and not the breaded and deep fried stuff. Lots of beans and legumes. Lowfat Sugar free frozen yogurts. Lots of fat free sugar free yoplait yogurts. Cereal and fruit w/ a palm full of nuts every morning for breakfast or a boiled egg with toast spread very very thin spread of smartchoice spread (need some good oils). I do not skip breakfast it is most important. I bring fruit to work and leave the vending machine alone. Ground turkey everything...burgers, chili, lasagna, stroganoff w1/4 regular sour cream and 3/4 fat free. Pita pizzas with canadian bacon, shitake mushrooms, black olives, onions, roasted garlic and 1/2 2% mozzarella cheese and 1/2 fat free mozzarella cheese. Chili cheese dogs w Hebrew National 97% fat free franks, turkey chili and fat free cheese slices. baked squash with just a hint of smart choice spread. Get the drift...take a shortcut at every meal and EAT EVERY MEAL keep eating! EAT, EAT, EAT I say! About once every week or two I may eat a moderate amount of any food but the key is to eat, keep eating and keep taking every posswible shortcut you can! Any other good ideas?
