Comment by StormDancer on December 21, 2012 at 7:32pm I neither love or hate her, her books have some valuable information and some not-so-valuable, but then that's true of nearly every author. I read many books on the same topic but by different authors just to compare the similarities and differences in their practices.

Comment by Noe Tellusom on October 18, 2012 at 3:24pm Elizabeth, I would recommend Ellen Cannon Reed's "Heart of Wicca" for beginners. Its a very small book that brings the values and ideas, great for folks to get an introduction and see if this path is right for folks. If that works for them -
I'd recommend Stewart and Janet Farrar's "Witches Bible" its one of the best reference books on Wicca and is a foundation text. Very well organized into the practices and Sabbats.
