I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

As far as your doctor is concerned, you will need to ask him what he saw. An oracle cannot give you a medical diagnosis. I could do a reading for you about how your lower back will improve, but you also asked about whether or not you will be able to get back to work at your previous job. I will draw a Rune to answer that question, and by implication that will probably answer your first question at the same time.

Gebo:
There is union, generosity, give and take. Positive mutuality comes into play. Your feelings and efforts are matched by those of someone else. Your intent finds reciprocation in others. You give of yourself to someone, and that person gives back to you in kind. You feel moved by it, and grateful for it. As a consequence of this positive mutuality, you bond with each other, or your current bond with each other strengthens.

1. You pamper or indulge yourself, and this is good.
2. You discover the key to something.
3. You have unfortunately and unnecessarily fenced yourself in.
4. An important communication comes into play.
5. You must adopt a more effective and potent strategy.

When the first paragraph speaks of someone responding to you in kind, in the context of your situation it means that you respond well to the biological mechanism of your body. I think that the five sentences in your divination are referring to the facilitating effect that this Rune divination is going to be having on your healing process.

Sentence five seems to be referring to something else.  If it is not clear to you what it is referring to, you might want to ask me for a follow-up reading to flesh it out a bit.

You succeed by going with the flow, regardless of whether that flow originates within or outside yourself. Going with the flow means following your heart, and doing what is the easiest and most fulfilling. It means clarifying in your own mind what you truly want. You must disengage from your frustrating struggles, and follow instead your deepest and most powerful passions. Going with the flow means trusting your intuition. Going with the flow means following the path of least resistance.

2. You emerge from something unscathed.
3. You sharpen your skills, improve your craft.
4. You must stand firm.
5. You must inspire others in the direction of their greatest ecstasy.
