Ginger tea is always easy to make; use it to heal a sore throat or indigestion.

Many herbs brought from the Old World naturalized themselves to become common weeds in the New. Our roadsides and waste places would have looked very different before the explorers, conquistadors, pilgrims and other colonists arrived.

Hi all!   How is everyone?   Have been absent I know.  So sorry.  Life gets in the way of fun stuff like discussing herbs!   Hahan.  Everyone gardening now?   Getting stuff planted?   My horseradish is still an ongoing sacred rite for me.  Haha!

Transplant shock generally happens due to damage caused to the roots. Absorption of water and nutrients occur with help of tiny hair of thin roots which lie far away from the root ball. While transplanting root hair get damaged either due to uprooting of the crop or simply by drying out.

Not at all Raya.

I'm not sure what exactly I see in his eyes- his whole 'essence' actually. I don't like to judge people too quickly or form fast opinions but.......I think I'll just say that what I see in his eyes is that he is a 'powerful' person and is capable of using it any way he chooses. I guess that is true for all of us but some have a 'greater internal force' than most others.  It's like a powerful force looking through his eyes...like there is someone else in there with him.  It made me 'uneasy' the first second I looked into his eyes.  I just went back and watched the vid again - I looked at the others for what I could see and their eyes are normal, just eyes.  Pain (sorrow) has a different look, generally easy to see. Unless a person has been hurt so badly over a long stretch of time but didn't 'break', just got real tough inside.  That's why I say I don't like to judge to quickly.

Lol , you must think I'm out to lunch.

Raya, I watched the video again and noticed the singer has a powerful nagual, Aztec term for animal spirit, uay in Maya terminology. His animal spirit seems like a black dog, crow, or raven. Maybe all three. What do you see in the eyes of the singer?

I'll watch it again later and let you know. I did feel an intensity from him the first and second time I watched it.

As far as humans becoming more humane, chances are slim to none. People who claim to be humane kill because they state they stand up for all humanity. Whether they kill with a weapon or kill with extreme political policies and/or kill with extreme religious ideology, I fear they will keep on killing.
