Hi all - I'm wondering if I can get some opinions from you.  I have a very small balcony that gets full sun on the right side in the morning and full sun on the left side in the afternoon.  It's also gets very hot when in full sun. Since I live up in Canada on the prairies where it gets very very cold in winter I have to take my plants into the apartment where there is very limited light for them.  I would like to grow some herbs that have an everyday use but in no way can they be related to ragweed.  I had a large fish tank given to me that I plan to grow dandelions in.  We get a lot of spraying for moths, tent caterpillars etc so I can't pick the dandelions that are growing wild. When the city is going to spray I can cover the tanks. I also have a smaller fish tank that I want for herbs.  Since I can't move these heavy fish tanks around whatever herbs I plant will have to accept the limited conditions of either morning sun or afternoon sun.  In winter I can dig them up and put them in pots to grow in the shade of my apartment.  Does anyone have any idea what kind of herbs would suit these conditions??? Any ideas at all???

I'm glad you are feeling better Amethyst.

Thank you Enigma.  All did go well.  Recovery was long and I’m just now getting up to full speed with reading and online stuff.  Couldn’t really look anything for a while.  Electronic screens were murder but all is well now. Just need to get a new and proper script for my glasses. It’s been 3 months since surgery and I think it’s safe to get new ones now.  Haha!

How have you been?   I trust holidays went well for you.  We’ve had a couple of holidays and another is rightsround the corner.  That wheel does turn.  Time to start planning and preparing gardens for some of us.

Hi all.  I’m back.  Briefly.  I’m gonnacbe out for a bit due to some eye surgery so I won’t be able to be online.  I have a strict prohibition of looking at computer screens or evencreading.  Not sure how long that will last.  Anyway I’ll be out.  Again.

Beryl you can always postvtje link to the ginger syrup to the cold & flu remedy page to the right just under true members area.  And everyone feel free to post on the pages.  I’ve tried for a bit to get all the discussions sorted and posted where applicable but as you can imagine it’s a massive job.  I need to resume that after surgery.

Anyway its helpful to have everytjing in one okace IMO.  TIs group is so large and there is so much information I hate to see it get devoured in the comments.

Hooe everuone stays well until I get back.  And please forgive any typos. Vision problems make it hard to see & correct.  Anyway, look forward to talking again soon.

Hello all - Beryl I followed the link to the ginger syrup but you don't give directions/instructions to recipe there either.   Would it be too much to ask you to type them out for me?  I know its a busy weekend for many so you don't have to do it right away.  I would appreciate it greatly.
