When most people think of Goddess centric traditions most pagans probably think of Feminist Dianic Wicca.  Many pagans also seem unaware that there are many other Goddess traditions.  So I propose we create a list of Goddess traditions for seekers.  Or for seasoned Goddess Worshipers who just want to know what else is out there.

Some guidelines.  Please include the following:

  • The Tradition’s Name
  • Website(s) if the tradition has any.
  • A brief description of the tradition.
  • Who’s allowed membership.

I'll start!

Z Budepest’s Feminist Dianic Wicca

http://dianic-wicca.com/

A feminist, women centric, Goddess centric form of Wicca.

For ciswomen only.

Mc Farland Dianic Tradtion

http://www.mcfarlanddianic.org/

This tradtions teachings are only available for initiates.  I do believe Mc Farland Dianics worship both the God and Goddess, but view the Goddess as the supreme being and view the God as a part of the Goddess. Teachings are centered around the Celtic Alphabet.

Depends on the Coven, but many Mc Farland Coven’s are open to people of all genders.  The tradition itself is open to everyone (18+).

The Apple Brach Dianic Tradition

http://applebranch.org/

A Dianic tradtion that is a mixture of Feminist Dianic Wicca and Mc Farland Dianic Wicca.  The Celtic Alphabet plays a great importance in this Tradition.

Full membership for women only.  Men cannot attend Full Moon Esbats, but can attend Sabbat riturals.

The Nemorensis Dianic Tradition

http://www.nemorensis.com.br/english/index.htm

A Brazilian Dianic tradtion.

Open to all genders.

Book of Tridea: http://www.lulu.com/items/volume_62/1033000/1033182/12/print/103318...

A wiccan-esque from of Neopaganism centered on the Triple Goddess.  There is little to no focus on witchcraft or feminism.

Open to all genders.

Shaktism

A sect of Hinduism which views the goddess Shakti as the supreme being.  Followers of Shaktism, or Shaktas may or may not worship a male god alongside Shakti.

Open to all genders.

I know there are plenty more Goddess traditions that I’m missing.  So please add, add, add.  Let’s make this list grow!!

I am  Shakti Wiccan. I honor the mother of the universe as the ultimate divine. She created herself and everything else. I love all of her incarnations but my central goddess is Durga. I also follow Shiva in all his incarnations.

Deanism/Filianism

http://www.mother-god.com/,
http://aristasia-central.com/encyclopaedia/tiki-index.php?page=Deanism,

Belief in the Original Faith, Faith in One God, in Her Original Form,
as Mother (Creatrix), Daughter (Queen of Heaven and Savior), and Absolute Deity (not Crone),
a religion possessing its own Scriptures and Catechism, devotional hymns.

Thank you for this entry.  I didn't want to write anything on this path, because I'm not too knowlegable on it, and rather have someone of this tradition write about it.

I'm still a student myself, but if asked a question, I good at finding answers, and if
not, I have two great authorities (for want of a better word) of Filianism/Deanism.

Fellowship of Isis

http://www.fellowshipofisis.com/

The Fellowship of Isis (FOI) is dedicated to honoring the Goddess in Her many forms.

All (Even Roman Catholics) are Welcomed.
