Finished treatment 3 years ago in March...zero detectable since a few months into treatment...i am so grateful...a friend just finished treatment this March...good to be able to offer support, encouragement, and practical suggestions.

Gods, I'm so sorry to hear that, my Friend. So many were unable to get treatment in time. One of the reasons I'm here is so that this never happens to anyone again.

Hello, I'm Mathu. My wife of 19 years now has Hep-c with end stage cirrosis. She diagnosed in 97 in her 15th year, (doctor estimation). Its though, but we just take it day by day.

Well, it's lymphocytic colitis, and my left hipbone is peeling away from my tailbone (along with two discs squashed as thin as pennies). Otherwise I'm fine lol

Well, it looks like it's not Hep-C. That doesn't mean I'm abandoning this group. As someone who's been there, I consider it my responsibility to help those who are going through it. My situation, in a nutshell:
Liver function and viral load tests all came back negative. Thyroid, bacteriological and parasitic tests all negative. Doctor is sending me to the gastro for a colonoscopy (fun!). Meanwhile, my back went out, so I'm going to an orthopod tomorrow. And I remain a mystery to the local medical community *sigh*. I'll keep you all updated...
