Herbs can be a wonderful thing or they can turn deadly! Understanding their usage and knowing what they can be mixed with is certianly something people should know if and when they decide to use them. Not only can they help in minor problems they can also hinder in fatal ways. Please be responsible and research before you use! Never subsitute herbs over medical advise without first asking your doctor!

Most books that have information on Graveyard Dirt and Graveyard Dust will tell you that the dust is Mullein, while the dirt is just that, dirt.

Hi all. LaDonna I too am a believer in the power of both natural and traditional healing. I believe the natural can help support the body so that traditional can do its work.

I've read a similar recipe for sore muscle cream using cinnamon instead of the cayenne. I'll have to Che k and see if I can find it.

@aradiagoseling, Well exactly graveyard dirt is just that....graveyard dirt.

it was very odd

@Fridr Kelley - is that perhaps a folkname for it?  I actually sent a gf of mine to a graveyard for some to I got actual dirt from a graveyard.  Not that I have had any particular use for it mind you.

I was at a store earlier, and I was looking at their herbs....This made me giggle so I had to share. They had this *HUGE* pouch of "Graveyard dust"

when you looked at the ingredients, it was mullein. I wanted to cry

Hello, it has been a while, but finally up on line after 9 months.

Do any of you have any additional information on Culantro (eryngium foetidum)

I have some, but I would like to add to it

I apply lavender oil to my husbands elbows and do a hot fomentation. It helps his muscle aches. It's lavender in olive oil baked at 200 for six hours and strained.

An absolute wonderful remedy for sore body parts is capsasin cream

take chili powder,

slowly mix it into melted bees wax and olive oil

let cool and use sparingly until you find out exactly how hot it is
