I really need to keep on-top of this but I'm so busy with my little children's book that I totally forget. Yesterday was the day that Isis searched for Osiris and today is the day that she morns. I'll be back tomorrow as it's another important holiday to Isis. If anyone wants to know I'm using the calender from the Church of the Eternal Source for all my festival information. Also I've been working on my sanctuary to Isis and I finally got my statue of Isis as well as my necklace. My incense burner came in yesterday as well and it wasn't Isis, it was Anubis. However I'm keeping him as he does look great on my sanctuary and it would be too much trouble to send him back.

I found some interesting information about what kind of stones that are connected to Isis. One of them is called Lapis Luzuli. I've already set up my order I just have to wait until my brother gets paid and then I can send it off. Oh my brother finally got a job after so many years searching, which is where I get 'when my brother gets paid,' from. I thanked the Goddess Ma'at for that as it has restored balance back into our lives after eight years of absence.

Yesterday was the Festival of Hathor and the Barge of Helioplis. This is also the Sokar Festival, which is dedicated to Isis seeking out and finding the remains of Osiris.

CAIRO (Reuters) – Archaeologists have unearthed the site of a pharaonic-era sacred lake in a temple to the Egyptian goddess Mut in the ruins of ancient Tanis, the Culture Ministry said on Thursday.

The ministry said the lake, found 12 meters below ground at the San al-Hagar archaeological site in Egypt's eastern Nile Delta, was 15 meters long and 12 meters wide and built out of limestone blocks. It was in a good condition.

It was the second sacred lake found at Tanis, which became the northern capital of ancient Egypt in the 21st pharaonic dynasty, over 3,000 years ago. The first lake at the site was found in 1928, the ministry said.

The goddess Mut, sometimes depicted as a vulture, was the wife of Amun, god of wind and the breath of life. She was also mother of the moon god Khonsu.

Today is the day that Isis goes forth. I didn't know what this day meant until I check it out on the Internet. It's the day that Horus receives his heritage. Does this mean that this is a favorable day?

There is so much I don't know about Isis, that I am looking forward to being part of this group. It may take me awhile to respond to discussions etc, but I will eventually. May Isis grant you all love, light and protection. Nebet Auset!
