Welcome to my little group.

Merry Meet, I am so glad you found me. I wanted to start this little group to help others make great gifts for their friends and family, and maybe keep some for themselves but shhhh no one will tell. Anyway, This is a place to add home made recipies.

A little about me, I have an online shop that I make home made blessed bath suplys and more. I think that the companys are ripping people off, so I wanted to share some of my recipies. If you have one to share add it. I look forward to seeing post and maybe learning something I didn't before.

Blessed Be,
Rowan

another thing i like to do is to put a few drops of an EO - usually lavender or sandalwood in some baking soda and use this to exfoliate. just make sure you use it on damp or oiled skin! it is also best to use an acidic toner (acv 1/2 and half with water and some EO is great) with baking soda to restore your pH

one of my favorite things is to just infuse some olive oil with lavender!
you can even add lavender EO to olive oil.
i use this oil to cleanse my face, in my bath, as a body oil and as a facial oil.
i also do the same with apple cider vinegar.
sandalwood powder makes a marvelous exfoliating tool. just put a little in your hands and apply to a damp face and scrub gently. smells great too. i stopped using it however, because indian sandalwood is endangered... but if you can find australian sandalwood powder it would be great!
the skin of an avocado also works great for exfoliation and if you leave the residue on your face for a few minutes it is highly moisturizing and wonderful for aging and dry skin!

Back online so I will start putting recipes back on. So glad this took off, and a heartful thanks to all its members who kept it going while I was away.

Glad I found this little nest of goodness. Thank you for being here. Sharing knowledge and helping ones fellows IS indeed what it is all about, a shame that some believe only 1 religiuos group owns that thought.
Peace and I hope to share some of my blends and things with any who care to read.

I lost my internet and am still looking on getting it back. I don't get on much but see that the group has really grown and is taking care of itself. So glad that you are all happy with it and sharing your knowledge. Thats what we do right? Blessed Be and keep it up.

I use the biz of making homemade bath and body stuff to pay for my other passion of spinning and knitting with some crochet thrown in for good measure. I recently was able to purchase some fiber rabbits. Here is a little bit of what i've been working on for the summer solstice. This yarn I'm spinning is just dying to be a shawl.(well maybe next years summer solstice I'm such a slow lace knitter)
