Kemetic Orthodoxy

Kemetic Orthodoxy, or KO, is the largest Kemetic group in America and the world. Most would consider them a cult but we're not here to talk about what people might think personally of the group. The House of Netjer has their mother house in Chicago Ill, where I was born, and the Rev is a Egyptologist. Some might argue that she can't be but that's not the point of what I'm talking about.

If there are members of the HON please fill free to join and share your spirituality. I don't expect privet information to be given, that's against the rules, but I would like to know how you connect to your divine parent and so forth. Also for those that wish to learn more about these people then check out the House of Netjer's website. You'll find some interesting people. No judging is allowed and this isn't a Wicca group.

I'll be explaining more about the Kemetic faith in one of the discussion folders and I hope that all that join gets something from it.

Kemetic Orthodoxy, or KO, is a main group within the Kemetic faith. Kemetic Orthodoxy is first of all nothing like Wicca. While Wicca has members that 'borrow' from other religions and use them in…Continue

Which books do you recommend to those that are new to Egyptian Paganism. I did have Following The Sun and Circle the Sun, but both had to be thrown out due to bed bugs. Any books that you think will…Continue

Glad that everyone has put up with my absence. Long story but I'm back and I'll be posting more.

I'm so wanting to move out of the house and get my own place. My mother, while she has nothing against my books on Ancient Egypt or the things that I watch about Egypt, she seems to have a problem with my statues. Personally their not bothering her and I'm an adult. Give me a break!

I hope all of you like the new name for the group. Sorry, once again, for not being on. I needed to get my stuff together spiritually. To all new members welcome and I'll try and be on more often. Today is the Feast of Hathor and the Festival of the Great Heat.

Once again sorry about not being on. The weather has been so hot and I haven't had much time to do anything. Only come on a couple of my groups and say hello. Well Autumn is coming and we are in the beginning of our Opet Festival. I hope that all of you have a good remainder of your summer and stay cool.

Sorry about not being on. I've been watching this group and I thank everyone that has joined. I'll be back on tomorrow and I hoping most of the time this month. Things have been hectic and I haven't had the time that I want to be on. Thanks for not leaving me.

I felt that most that came on here would be recons and not KO but I made it clear that KO were still allowed.

BAHLASTI! No edit button! What's 'The Huliest of The Great Ones'?
I reckon; weaving all this Magick together will make a Grand New Symphony of Holy Energies... I'll put my Cloak back ON! And learn more; before invoking more' Huliest Great Ones!' OOPS!
Bright Blessings; AL.

Welcome Hyppolyta Luciferia to Kemetic Reconstructionists. I hope that you like it here and that you find what were saying interesting. I'm now downloading a video, or trying to, onto Youtube. Once I've down loaded it then I'm going to post it here.

Greetings Hyppolyta Luciferia; how old do you need itto be? Like i mentioned: Lion serpents are standard Invocation practice...; I'm only
learning 'Kemetics'-but practise Khem Magiok, so am puzzled by S of S's comment about no quarters etc. As said, I'm learning, however, our lodge practise in this way:-- At The Mansion " Hail to You, Gods of The Western Caverns; Hail to you, Door-Keepers of The Netherworlds who guard this God; who bring news to RA HOOR KHUIT!--May you be Alert! Have Power to destroy The Enemies of HERU RA HA; making Brightness; seeing The Huliest of The Great Ones---" So itgoes on, for each Quarter, with whatever God/desses you work with... Then you just shorten it, to " HAIL, God Who---"
When you open The Mansion Gates. The Lady Servant of Sekhmet is Priestess and Teacher here; which I respect, and from whom I learn; She knows I'm also a Temple Guardian. So you're making points, Dear Hypa Luoiferia; that I felt i should comment on; 'cos
you're similar; Any road up, you were saying...
