Lammas is one of the sabbats that I haven't really been able to celebrate, and I'm looking forward to learning more about it. Sadly I missed it this year, but I'm glad I found this place so I can catch up and learn more about it for next time. ^_^

Hi! Everyone. I'm back after such a long time. The group looks great. I have a lot of catch up to do. I have been ill a long time. I have had major computer problems. These issues are in the past for now. I hope you all will join my group page and our 40 groups that Abbott'sinn International has on this network. I plan to be posting here soon. Take Care and Blessed Be to you all. AD(arch-druid) Stephen. Peace! Peace! Peace! As a priest of Lugh I'm happy to be in this group.

Thank you for sharing Hawkeye, love the Wickerman, and your fire pit for safety, also, your Grove seems to be below the spreading branches of a Redwood?
This is a great idea, and one that the Midlands of England Pagan gathering does well also.
We tried to get one set up, but the old group that i was working with were full of apathy, and did not want to commit to construction, as the time involved!
well friend, you gets out what you puts in, and I guess looking at that, it was a strong Gathering.
many blessings of light, love and peace.

Eclectic Journey, have you thought about baking in a dutch oven so you can do it outside and not heat up the house? I love to dutch oven just about any dish.

this will be my first Lammas, and i'm hoping to include the kids and teach them about how the earth gives much to us, and everything else.

Thanks for all the ideas. Originally I was hoping to do some baking with my husband as part of this sabaat but with the temperatures possibly being in the high nineties - I'll be considering a few other options. I love the cinnamon stick and lavender craft idea.
