Tuesday April, 29, 08 afternoon as I am sitting at the table...something compells me to rise and exit to the front porch facing South.... I step out and looking East I see a blue gray obscurity, with a pinkish-lavender band above the arc of the obscurity...but that is not what is remarkable nor caught my attention; from the edge of the pinkish-lavender band is an array of white tubes beginning from the middle of the obscurity and raying out upward in tube-like fashion looking like a funnel....the unique thing i noted was that the inside of the tubes and the outside were of the same intense white...no moderation of grays or shades of gray at all....
I thought when i studied art that it was a fundamental law of light that there were nuance shades and subtle shades which are in shadow depending on how the light shines on the object...and depending on how it would affect the rods and cones of our eyes.....NOT this time. It seemed this was done to defy our physical laws, and why did this appear in teh Eastern sky when the Western sky was brilliantly lit up in a massive array of oranges, lavenders and violets in blazing glory?!?!?
anyone else ever hear of this phenomon or see it?
