Hello all. I live in north phx near glendale/peoria. very near. my kids go to a peoria school..lol. there are TONS of trails near me. once the weather cools off(and its getting there!) I'm hoping to start exploring them. I have never really gone hiking and know it can be decieving hard. I also have 3 kids and at least one of them will be with me most of the time...so they have to be REALLY easy...lol. I too love to photograph:) blessed be

Now is the month of Maying
Make a garland wreath for Beltane
Fa la la la la la la la la
Fa la la la la la la !

Phoenix Pagan Pride Day is offering a class on making May Day garland wreaths to wear on your heads for Beltane as a Fundraiser.
Learn to fashion your own floral wreath to wear on your head, during Beltane this was fashionable for Men as well as for Women.
The cost of the class is $8.00 and includes everything you will need to make your own head wreath. These will be made using silk flowers, if you prefer fresh flowers feel free to bring your own, remember, to bring a large amount as they will shrink up as they dry on the wreath. If bringing your own live flowers the cost would be $5.00.

Camelback MTN was awsome, so beautiful. My only complaint was that the parking was terrible and next time I have a meeting it will be in a better location and we can meet some where close to the hike and carpool or follow each other. It took at least one hour just to get to the parking lot. Needless to say I was late for the hike and there was some confusion on who was attending. From now on I would like every one that plans to attend the hikes to RSVP first and I will be posting them at least one week in advance. I will try for a month but it is easier to see the 7 day forcast than to figure out one full month. I hope every one had a blessed Imbolc.

Sorry all I have been some what busy I just started working with a personal trainer that has been exhausting me. I am in better condition now I would like to schedual a meeting for the group and gather some Ideas with others. We could meet in the mountains for a hike. I would like to hike up Camelback MTN. There is an awsome trail there that is fairly easy not long at all. It leads in to a huge cave(bobies rock) . We can meet at the North side just off of Lincon Drive & Tatum. Bring your drums or your voice. If any one wants to go to the top after the meeting we can go. However for those that do not want/can't go that far or that much vigour they are more than welcome to join us at the cave and I and one other I will try to recruit will asure the safe arival of you off the trail before the rest of the hike.
