Greetings everyone!! My name is Dainelle and I have been in this group for a little while and I forgot that I was. lol Sorry! But, I have found out that I am Cherokee and Choctaw but not sure how much as of yet. Myself and a few other people are helping me figure that out. I am looking forward to meeting other people and learning anything and everything that I can.

Hello Everyone! My name is Jackie and I am glad to be a part of this group. I don't know if I am part Native American or not, I strongly think I am but I don't have an inkling of an idea how to find out. We have done a family tree and we think we have found one ancestor who was Native American but we're not sure. We have some really good family photos on the site where our family tree is and a lot of the people look like they are Native American. If anyone can give me any pointers as to how I can find out if I am Native American I would surely appreciate it. I remember my Mom telling me that either her great grandmother or her great-great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. Someone else in our family did our family tree and said they didn't find and Cherokee at all. I would love to find out for sure.

I am commenting again already. I've been reading through the wonderful conversations and so many things are going through my head. i am so thankful to have found this. I really would like to find an opportunity for more of a 'hands on' experience of Native spirituality, ie: shaman, elder, mentor, meetings etc ... ????

Howdy from Crazy Grandma (what my kids call me) I am 1/8 Native American biologically, but my heart seems to be nearly fully Native American. I would be honored to meet eith others who feel the same 'calling', whatever thier 'biological' background is.

Hello All, Im Liz, our family goes way back with various southwestern Native Americans, but the most recent was my great great grandmother, who was Navajo, great grandpa was half and half Scottish. :) I am just a huge mutt but I have always resonated well with the beat of the drum.
