Strange dream

Recently I had a really odd dream, and I am interested in whatever feedback you may be willing to give.

In the dream I was with two of my friends, walking along a path in an open field. We come upon a woman with long black hair braided down her back. She had tanned skin, and seemed to be wearing a tanned leather shirt and breeches. She had striking green eyes that sparkled in the midday sun, and high cheek bones.

The woman stopped us, and told us to "Go to the field, take a 'potatoe' leaf, and place it under your tongue. Then, return to me." Somehow I got the feeling that the field in question belonged to a rival tribe. At this point I depart from my friends as we are all going seperate ways, and I am running as fast as I can to the field.

Once I arrive in the field I stop just long enough to pull of a small leaf from a plant and place it under my tongue. The leaf was about 3 inches long, and it was wider at the stem of the leaf than at the top. It only had a single point and the edge of the leaf may have been serrated. It was a deep forest green in color. Once I had the leaf I left running as quickly as possible back to where I had seen the woman.

When I find her again, I tell her that I have done as she asked and she hands me a piece of paper and instructs me to come with her. A short time later we arrive on an out-of-place wooden floor with no walls or cieling. Their is a sun symbol burned into the wooden floor about 3-4 ft in radius and I am in the center kneeling at a table. Upon the table I place a candle inside a wooden bowl and light it. Afterwards I take a clay pitcher and pour water into the bowl around the base of the candle (note the candle is still burning). When I am done the wind blows wildly, and the candle dances as it changes to a bright canary yellow, and then to pink. Once this happens I step up onto a seperate table and jump over two "Y" shaped sticks with a pole horizontally over them.

Then I wake up (in the dream) and the woman is standing over me. She hands me a small stone and says "you are now our ally".

I'm not used to having dreams with quite this much symbolism in them all at once and it is entirely possible that instead of being one dream it happened in sessions. Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this crazy experience.
