Binding spells
I have found a binding spell that I want to try...however, since I am just beginning, I don't know if I need to have a specific black votive or if any black votive will due. Any ideas?

any candle should be fine, perhaps anoint it or carve sigils into it? remeber its not the tools that bring the energy to a ritual its you, but if specially preparing your tools enhances your ability to raise the needed energy then by all means do it

Thank you so much for any and all feedback. I have decided to use a revealing 'true nature' spell instead of binding. This will be most effective in bringing the results I am actually seeking. Cuz I definitely don't want to be bound to this person!! LOL I am new to this though and any advice I get is most valued!!!
