Greetings friends!
I am new to the site and this group.  I live in New Windsor, just south of Newburgh.  I hope through this group to meet great friends and fellow pagans, which since moving back to NY from Pittsburgh has proved to be more difficult then originally anticipated!

 I do feel for everyone effected by Sandy, I used to live in hurricane territory, I know the damage that can be done. It is awful.

 My camera just died when I went to Mass, to the beach- to take pictures- go figure. All I have/ had is a pocket camera. I have never owned a really good camera, would love to one day :)

 Thank you for the compliments and encouragement. 

 My prayers are with your family and all those who have been so badly effected by Sandy. I am happy you were one of the Lucky ones :)

I like fooling around with the camera too.  But my camera recently died on me in the middle of my friends daughter's christianing.  So all I have is my little pocket camera.  Not use to using such a small camera.  I told everyone I needed a new camera.  Hopefully someone heard me & I will get one for either my birthday or Christmas.  I doubt...no one listens to me (I have teenagers & a husband with selective hearing) ;-)  Keep up the good work.  You have a great eye.

Right now the city is a mess.  Especially Coney Island, Staten Island, the Rockaways & Breezy Point.  Most people it that area still do not have power.  I was totally unaffected by the storm, but many of my family & friends were.  My heart goes out to all those w/o any family or friends to lean on.

Thank you. Yes I do take them myself. I love taking pictures :)

Upstate is beautiful in the Country and the unique little towns.  I am not in the Country, but that is where I go When I want different Scenery. 

So How's it in the City ??

Beautiful picture kathy.  Did you take them yourself?  I live in the city.  Quite a bit away from you.  How do you like it upstate?
