The Vision for this Group, it's really Grandma's house.

Magdalena is my inspiration for the group.

Her union with nature and her healing abilities touched many in her native country as well as in the U.S.

By the time I was a toddler, she was already in her seventies. She did not speak english, but just being near her, her radiance shined through.  I wanted to be a reflection of who she was.  A mother, a grandmother, a nurturer, a "Witch."

Without a formal education, she was a midwife and referred to as a "Doctor." Part may be due to the era in which she was born and another part came naturally.

This group is to assist individual growth through sharing personal family and life experiences.  To offer a sense of family in this busy busy world.

It is not asked to reveal magickal secrets but to assist others in their growth as you would with any family member.  The patience, the tolerance truly needed in teaching one.  Encouraging those who wish to learn and not being judgmental when mistakes are made.  Remembering we all had to learn at one time.

Nurturing without Criticism, providing recommendations on informative tools, plain old suggestions to help guide another.  We are from around the world and no one way is better than the other. We are all on a journey with a common goal.

We are magickal, funny, serious and absurd along with other various descriptions thrown in.

We are a beacon from the Old World with priority on ritual and tradition, but not too staunch and stuffy.

The Vision is unity through nurturing and enjoying nature as best we can with a focus on family which has brought to Witchcraft and is not a stereotype from the outside world.

The magick is harmonious and all around us.

It is a way of life!

To me the kitchen is a magickal place. You don't stand in the kitchen!  You sit at the table and relax while transferring love into your creation, into bowls, pots or pans.  It is as if you are…Continue

I am curious how many folks have responded to Fox and Friends and the uneducated response to Missouri's addition of Wiccan holidays.
Having once already been persecuted for my spiritual path, I decided to send off an email.
The wording was such it honored my most Gracious and Loving Mother Goddess.
No harsh words were typed.
Confrontational wording or insults will not help our becoming a more recognized path. Quite the opposite!
I am willing to stand and make known what is in my heart and totally understand others who have very valid reasons for wishing to remain silent. Please continue to send us inspirational messages of support.
Has anyone here responded to the comments made by Fox and Friends?
Blessings to everyone.

Good early morn phoenix...so glad to see you. Struggling thru the loss as well. Seems to betting harder rather than easier. Dale's daughter is having the same problem...harder each day. I'm finding that being online keeps me occupied. Dale was such a huge part of my life max each and every day...I have so much time on my hands now. Having trouble handling that. Yammering away online helps with that...a bit! You know how to contact me If you ever wanna chat...or yammer! :-D

Thank you chia!  These are awesome!  I'm getting ideas!  More like a wish list.  I would have these all over the place if I could!

I think they call they munchers.
I am hoping someone can find one without having to use many tools.

I can post an image!

You're right, it will come to me.  I just want it where I can remember him, and I don't have to deal with undesirable critters!  Mice get in my house in the winter and it drives me nuts!

I do need to look online for some ideas chia...not sure what to search for though.  There are many "memorials" for purchase, but that's not what I need.  I'll figure something out with the help of friends I'm sure!

Thank you Elena.
Have you looked in line for ideas? I could have sworn I saw something once.
I'll check it out also.
Cancer and any other disease which slowly steals away the body is horrendous.
It is difficult for everyone. I am glad he trusted me to make his health decisions when he no longer could.
It is good to know our loved ones are headed to somewhere beautiful

I'm sure it will come to you out of the blue and you will find the perfect spot for the memorial. I have a bird feeder for my grandmother that is right outside my dining room window. I get to see birds all day long at the feeder and the window ledge. They remind me of my Grandmother, she was an animal lover and loved birds of all kinds.. I feel like she is there every time one of my many doves looks at me or coos softly. I'm sure the perfect spot will come to you.
