For skin I use rosehip oil on the face. For skin on the body I use sweet almond oil or apricot kernel oil. Buy carrier oils in small bottles and from a reliable/good shop. Oils can turn rancid and do have a sell-by date. Adding some vit E might extend shelf life but still oils do go bad. I only make small batches and use them up.

Hello, I'm new to this site and to this group. I am interested in making my own oils, and I was wondering if someone may direct me in which oil would be best to use for the skin. I'm looking for something that retains scent well but isn't thick (like olive oil). If there was mention of this topic posted previously, my apologies for not seeing it. Feel free to inbox me and thank you <3 B.B.

HALP!!!

Please can someone help me - I am suffering with fatigue and interrupted sleep. I am stressed about going back to work on Monday 6th and I have drunk chamomile tea, had lavender and crystal baths, I feel I need a 'lift' and a 'zing' to replenish my energy. I know this time of year doesn't help....!

Thank you for your advice :)

Blessed Be xx

How to make Tiger Balm for those who want to know whats going in their product

Ingredients: % by weight amt. needed for 56oz. batch

Menthol crystals 20% 9.6 oz.
Camphor blocks 32% 15.36 oz.
Bees wax 20% 9.6 oz.
Petroleum jelly 4% 1.92 oz.
oil of clove 8% 3.8 oz.
oil of cajuput 8% 3.8 oz.
oil of cinnamon 8% 3.8 oz.
( optional)ammonium hydroxide 1 oz.

Melt beeswax and petrolium jelly in a pot until completely liquified. Remove from heat, quickly stir in camphor blocks (may help to chop or grate camphor prior). Add rest of ingredients, stir until consistent, and camphor has melted. Pour into permanant container, and let congeal. The above will make a nice equivalent to the commercial . If ammonium hydroxide is added, it turns red, and adds a little more heat to it.

I am looking for recipes for oils and incenses dedicated to specific Deities...particularly, The Morrigan, Cernnunos, and Scathach. If anyone has any recipes or suggestions they'd like to share I'd be so very grateful!
