Comment by Noe Tellusom on May 14, 2012 at 1:30pm We utilize the chapel at NAS Whidbey. Occasionally, we go off the base, in the case of Beltane, we had a bonfire BBQ at a local campsite.

Comment by Noe Tellusom on May 14, 2012 at 1:58am Ah. The online ordination groups. I have an ULC ordained cat. :D
We're busy making plans with our presenters for Solstice. We're at that all important, yet time consuming, theme choosing stage.
Comment by Noe Tellusom on May 14, 2012 at 12:43am Welcome Mel, who are you ordained with? Hubby and I are with Circle Sanctuary, currently holding quasi-public sabbats at NAS Whidbey in Western Washington.
Comment by Noe Tellusom on April 14, 2012 at 2:48pm Thank you, Tegwedd. At this point, we're prepping a bonfire for Beltane. :D
Since the Deity of the Sabbat is Brigid, and She is the Goddess of the forge, poetry, healing, and midwifery, we have a blessing of the magickal tools for this sabbat. You can also have a bardic circle, where everyone who writes poetry reads or recites hir poetry.
Comment by Noe Tellusom on January 7, 2012 at 1:01pm We're in the process of putting together a program for Imbolc. Anyone else working on this and looking for inspiration?
Comment by Arsenic & Old Lace, Vinnie Russo on December 31, 2011 at 2:32pm Ah, that's different. Most of the pagan organizations that I am associated with are not "affiliated groups" so much as they are legal churches or religious education organizations for like-minded practitioners/specific Traditions or folks working on common social ventures. I love the model that CoG uses and think it would be great to use and modify with the intention of "resource sharing" and "affiliation".
Comment by Noe Tellusom on December 31, 2011 at 12:24pm Vinnie, I was trying to be circumspect. We're members of an affiliating organization and we're not particularly thrilled with it. We were looking for one with a greater sense of partnership, one with a good communication dynamic and one in which resources (obviously not BOS) are available and shared among members, such as for workshops and sabbats.
Comment by Arsenic & Old Lace, Vinnie Russo on December 31, 2011 at 7:54am Noe, that's a pretty open ended question. Can you be more specific? In the past, I've been on the board of CoG and I am currently on the board of Temple of Diana, Inc. and Society of Elder Faiths. Just looking for general pro vs con or something specific? Maybe make the question a discussion rather than a wall post?
