Need some advice on what to do

Please excuse my ignorance, but what do the initials "DOHA" stand for? Does this concern a disabilities case?

it stands for Department Office of Hearings and Appeals. Its for a security clearence, that I have had for over 7 years.

Thank you for explaining. It's been a little while since the first post, so has anything more occured regarding this? If you're still fighting the Scizotypal diagnosis, it might help to have an advocate explain how certain religious beliefs can be mistakenly diagnosed - such as through ACLU or WARD (witches against religious discrimination). Being a Pagan and therapist, I have a pretty good idea of what the psychologist used against you - whether clothing choices, phrases, ways of looking at things, etc. You might want to consult a lawyer regarding cultural diversity being inappropriately used against you in the course of the evaluation.

Tonya,
You must be SO polite!!! Be as sweet and kind as you have ever been while carrying out the following. Remember always, your intention is to correct an issue not upset the natural order of the planet.

INSTRUCTIONS: Go back to the Therapist and ask to her to remove the diagnosis (Of course her can't actually do that in most cases). Then when she tells you that she can't do that.... Request the Colorado State Board contact information, its a form that was handed to you when you first accepted service... the what to do if you feel discrimination has occurred form. All most every state has this kind of compliant system set in place. After she gets you a copy of the "Rights and Responsibilities" form. Thank her ever so kindly and than hand her a typed letter (signed and dated) to request a copy of your file. She may request that you come back, as far as I am aware, most states do not require that your file must be handed over right away. She will have up to 90 days to deliver: check your state and county law.

WARNING: Do not show your file to anyone. Generally speaking a counsolers file is only going to make sence to other counselors. Having said that, there can be somethings that can seem hurtful, and in the wrong hands,.. maybe even more damaging.

You got the form... file a discrimination complaint with the Colorado Services DORA,.. I don't know the license type for the person that your looking to resolve the issue with... so here is the web link to all the resource information

Remember, as nice and sweet,.. make no waves and it will all be smooth sailing. Generally, a miss diagnosis can be cover sheeted pretty easy. A peaceful walk down the path of non discrimination will give you back your dignity. Warm wishes Tonya,
