Thus you can throw yourself flat on the ground, stretched out upon Mother Earth,
with the certain conviction that you are one with her and she with you. You are as
firmly established, as invulnerable as she, indeed a thousand times firmer and more
invulnerable. As surely as she will engulf you tomorrow, so surely will she bring you
forth anew to the new striving and suffering. And not merely "some day." Now,
today, every day she is bringing you forth, not once but thousands upon
thousands of times, just as every day she engulfs you a thousand times over.
- Erwin Schroedinger, My View of the World, 1964, p.21

Hi! Everyone. I'm back after such a long time. The group looks great. I have a lot of catch up to do. I have been ill a long time. I have had major computer problems. These issues are in the past for now. I hope you all will join my group page and our 40 groups that Abbott'sinn International has on this network. I plan to be posting here soon. Take Care and Blessed Be to you all. AD(arch-druid) Stephen. Peace! Peace! Peace!

Hello. My poetry is not usually pagan, though I suppose it depends on your own beliefs. I tend to write as therapy so it is about me and what I feel and think. I tend to be honest and hard. It is free form, no rhymes, many of them are memory recognition, or simple story telling. Some are very strange, experimental or dream like. I tend not to deal in fantasy. I like I said they are little therapy sessions I have with myself. If you like, thats great, if you don't thats fine too. I've enjoyed reading the poems posted here, though not my style I still appreciate what any poet says. I will go through my stuff and see what I come up with, and post it as a new discussion. I am really glade I found this group, thank you for being here.

Between Sun and Moon

Prayers for Mediators form in my heart,
As soul to soul I do my part.

Mediators stand where lightning will strike,
Never quite knowing where it might.

Bridging the worlds ready to cross,
Never counting the terrible cost.

Holy Ones all, bless us this day,
As you have called us be brave and stay.

Ancestors and Guardians send out the call,
To receive Power and Light for the good of all.

Will YOU stand ready between Sun and Moon,
To heed the messages that transform doom?

“This poem was written in response to a “Celtic Spirit”, by Caitlin Matthews,
reading for this day. This poem was also written with the divine assistance of Awen.”

Nice group. In poetry there are 2 messages: one it is found in words and one it is found in music.

The Grass Whisperer

By Jack Haley

Every blade of grass has its angel that bends over it
and whispers, "grow, grow." - the Talmud

I never knew what drunkenness was until I wasn't drunk.
My limbs swayed like alcohol, and old notes fell out of my pockets.
I thought shooting myself in the chest would cure me.
But I was defending myself, and the grass whisperer makes no mistakes,
doesn't mercy have a perfect heart?

That's my story!

Blessed Be
I hope this is where we can post our work???
If not please let me know
thanks

I will stand and face mine enemy on this road to death and destruction.
With sword in one hand and staff in the other.
For I fear evil, but not enough to hide from it.
For when you hide from your prey, you don't face it, you don't understand it.
I believe in my self amd in those who walk beside me.......

Greetings to all
A part of me...

Pain:

There are no rules, no ryhmes, no reason...
Only sadness.
The drums in my head have an ancient beat, long and hard.
Unexplained pain leaves me unbalanced and confused.
Eyes are tired of looking out , when they should be looking in...
I battle with understanding, when nothing makes sence.
Time and being seems lost.
All is empty.
Forgive me.....
