that sounds like fun! My coworker was their intern for a year, and she has some great stories to tell. I wish I lived a little closer to their office, as many of the events are too far south for me to make, but I always try to go to at least one beach sweep each year. Maybe we should try to get a pagan group together to go to one of the cleanup beaches for the next one.

I've participated in several COA cleanups over the years. I also used to monitor the water off different beaches and in different rivers for them.

It was a good time.

Hi Isenhelm. I know you posted about the beach cleanups a while ago, but I just wanted to let you know that Clean Ocean Action is a nonprofit based in Sandy Hook that organizes quarterly beach cleanups, and they are always looking for groups to help out. Check out www.cleanoceanaction.org and click on beach sweeps.

Hello all,
I'm a heathen from NJ. I currently reside in Beachwood, Ocean County.

The beautiful weather is here and like I did with another group that is on Yahoo, I'd like to set up a beach clean-up. For those that are interested, It's a great way to make friends and a difference. I wasn't able to do It last year but I also like to set up a food donation around the times of the great blessings. The summer Solstice is a great time for that.

If anyone is interested please let me know.
