The Pittsburgh Witches Ball tickets will be in stores at the beginning of next week, remember first 125 tickets will be $25.00 some stores will add charge card charges "like a buck", so cash saves those charges, after the first 125 sold ticket prices go to $30, and at the door $35, we are trying to keep prices down, and keeping it reasonable, we have a volunteer signup sheet on the website, sponsors and program advertisers get those forms in cut off is August 10th I believe, we have vendors trickling in but we do not save spaces or reserve spaces, first come first serve, application can be found on the website, we have 10 vendors, artisans & crafters, this is not a vendors fair ( nothing wrong with vendor fairs ) but we offer some of those special little shopping opportunities, three healers & readers, much more details about the Witches Ball at the website & blog
"News" of a Fae Fest Street Bash will be announced next week with details coming save August 9th for a fun day in the "BURGH"
We will have a guest speaker coming in on Gordon Abernathy will speak on Hoodoo, & we will have another surprise guest speaker, just $5 dollars, and this will help to raise funds for all the wonderful events at The Pittsburgh Black Hat Society & help us get our either non profit or LLC, we will have coffee, tea & ice tea, but bring a dish to share sweet or savory ...

Moonstones in Dormont if you want a more pagan/witchy store

https://www.facebook.com/MoonStonesAMetaphysicalHaven

Journeys of Life also pagan/witchy in Shady Side:

https://www.facebook.com/JourneysOfLife

For crystals there is Appalachian Rock Shop in Harmony:

https://www.facebook.com/appalachianrockshop

The Culture Shop has Middle Eastern wares and Incense and some hippie kind of clothing:

I do not go into town if I can help it. So, if there are other shops with pagan or cultural flavors, I really don't know them anymore.

Again, Thank You for the information, ReNauMoon! Maybe I will meander around when up home, visiting relatives! Are there any that you would recommend?

Comment by ReNauMoon on June 1, 2014 at 9:57pm

Dee, unfortunately any other Pagan-related sorts of shops that I know of are in or past Pittsburgh proper.

Thank you so very much, for your response, ReNauMoon! Is there anything else in the area, that you may know of? ReNauMoon, well yes that was the exact little shop! I am sad either way, to hear that they moved, closed, or suffered a fire, or someone has fallen ill. She made same damn good body scents!! Lovely woman! Gracious & knowing of what she wanted to do with the store! Oh honey, me, move back home? That would be enticing! I would search out some new friends in SWPA...that would be delightful! Sounds & looks like you have some really cool events! Right now, I do not see the "want to" to move back home...after all,  here in Louisiana I not only have much warmer winters, but alas, I am involved in a enchanting cross state relationship with New Orleans, darlin! She is jealous, & I adore her so! She calls to my heart, she knows that she is the closest I can get to a city like Pittsburgh! The antiquity, the architect, the glitz & glimmer, friendly people, culture & of course the food, not to mention the mystery of it all! :) But let me say, moving back home, has been thought of & even discussed, as we sit outside, enjoying lows in the 40's, highs in the mid 70s here in SWLA..sipping Holiday cheer, chatting on the phone to my sister, in Greensburg while she tells us of the awful lows of near 0 & the highs in the teens! It is a thought though, a warm but chilling thought! :)

Greetings and Salutations all,

Please consider joining us for:

Evergreen Discussion Group - ANNUAL Energy Exchange and Picnic

June 5th will be the short planning meeting for the energy exchange.

The ANNUAL Energy Exchange is scheduled for Sat. June 7th - Primrose Pavilion at Boyce Park - 12:00-7:00

We will have the energy exchange with a Picnic open to folks interested in coming for and/or sharing healing energies.

As Evergreen is a free to attend group and we do not have a piggy bank, if you are joining us, it would be appreciated if you would supply either your own food or food to share.  If offering food to share, please leave original packaging with the food or write an ingredient list for homemade food, so that those with food allergies know what is and isn't safe for them to enjoy. Also, in an effort to be more eco-friendly, it is requested that you bring along your own washable/recyclable dishes and utensils.

There will be grilling equipment available for anyone wanting to grill something. Since there are both Meat eaters and Vegan and Vegetarians that would possibly attend, we will make certain that we have a meat-free grilling set up available also.
