Pagan Town

Several times I've tried setting up or helping others set up a town or micronation. Normally falls through due to lack of commitment and lack of stuff to keep busy; lets try it again.

Farming Faith

Since I assume no one has hit the lottery and your talking about an undertaking from the ground up the first logical step is a situation of semi communal living. 8-10 individual households grouping...

What level of Technology do you want there to be? 76 Replies

Very important. Since this will be a community it is of course up to the community to decide what level of technology is wanted for the town/micronation. Since it will be a town it is likely that w...

Thats great-you should be explaining the things needed an work involved in this aspect!!! So if you already have this experience then you wont need to hunt wild life as a Pagan/Wiccan you know all life is scared an you want to live within nature correct? Have you started on by-laws and a mission statement? As I would be interested in seeing these.
Also what about costs-property, the start-up for these crops animals, community buildings etc-how will this be distributed amongst community?

Your idea of hunting the wildlife is good for 1 maybe 2 families but you are talking a large group-wildlife would be hunted to extinction in the first season-which in turn affects the eco system. You need to be planning your own livestock-chicken-other fowl is very easy to raise an pretty inexpensive then goats, pigs and cows. From the sounds of all the threads I have been able to get thru everyone needs to do a lot more research.

we should also know where the creatures live to make hunting them easier.

If juniper bothers you which it will most do not burn cedar either-though a lovely smell can be quite caustic. On the juniper if you are going to burn clear branches of any type of leaves as they are the most irritating. I would highly suggest everyone thinking of doing the woodsey thing to get picture books an acquaint them selves with the different wildlife & fauna. As some trees/bushes/plants is quite toxic when burnt-not just ingested. And all should know about the local wild creatures habits to be able to live in harmony with them.

Hi everyone. Arcane asked and I replied! Apologies for taking so long to get into the discussions. I think this is a great idea, by the way.
