Appeal for "Beaker"

Ohio and Kentucky friends, I received this email today. I know these people personally, and they are good-hearted people, not scammers. Please attend or contribute if you can.

On December 25, 2010 Beaker (Stephan) was taken to the hospital for chest
pains where he was diagnosed with Chronic Renal (kidney) Failure. Since he
was 3 years old, he has only had one kidney. He is now on dialysis three
times a week. On Tuesday, January 4th, he signed up for the transplant
list.

Due to his illness, he has been forced to take off several days from work. He
does not have paid sick leave. While waiting for the transplant and
recovery, he is expected to be off work for more than a month.

Those of you that know Beaker (Stephen), know that he is always ready to
help when another is in need. Stephen, his wife Candra, and their two boys
(ages 10 months and 6 years old), are in need of our assistance to help with
their mounting bills due to Stephen's unexpected illness.
